Hello, my name is Dennis Smith, and I am an Independent Insurance Agent located in Binghamton, NY. I have over twenty years of experience in both Commercial and Personal lines insurance. I currently hold insurance licenses in New York, and other states, for Property & Casualty insurance; Life, Accident & Health insurance; and have a Securities license to sell and service Annuities and Mutual Funds. Prior to Insurance, I worked in the Landscaping industry for many years and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the New York State College of Environmental Science & Forestry.
I have owned and operated successful insurance agencies since 2009. After many years as an exclusive agent for a major insurer, I partnered with Rebekah Jacobus at Triple Cities Agency in November of 2022. This move to an independent agency was necessary to give us the ability to better serve our customers’ needs and deepen our relationships with them.
Customer Service has always been a priority for me, and I take pride in knowing that our clients have other choices for their insurance needs, but still choose to do business with us. That is an honor I will never take lightly.
I was born and raised in this area, and currently live in Vestal, NY with my wife, Margaret. Together we have four sons, whom we try to see as much as possible. I have a passion for the outdoors, enjoy living an active lifestyle, and cherish the company of family and friends.
